Marty Epp-Carter retired from an accidental teaching career 18 months ago. Since then, Epp-Carter has been looking both forward and back to establish a structure for their daily studio
practice.
In this informal interview session at Wilkinson Art, Joel and the audience will ask questions hoping to find some insight into the mysterious worlds Epp-Carter creates in their work. As prompts for the questions, we will examine a series of fine art etchings, some recent, some as old as 20 years ago. The common thread, the uniting element is what will come out in Epp-Carter’s answers to the questions we ask.
