For the 2023 edition, VGSC wants to feature original work from a local photographer on the cover. In partnership with the Metropolitan Arts Council and Artisphere, you are officially invited to submit up to two photographs–your very best–that depict the sights of Greenville.

The photographer whose work is chosen to appear on the cover of up to 75,000 copies will receive the following:
$1,500 commission for their work
An article on the winner(s) in the Greenville Journal (which includes being professionally photographed)
The winner(s) of this contest will be exempt from jury for the Artisphere Artists of the Upstate Juried Exhibition and will be able to compete for Best in Show, Award of Excellence, etc.
The winning piece(s) will be announced on VGSC and Artisphere social media. Artisphere may elect to use the winning piece(s) on one of the branded products, e.g., their private label wine or notecards
VisitGreenvilleSC may choose to use the winning image(s) on merchandise sold online at VisitGreenvilleSC’s eStore
