We’d like to offer you an opportunity to help improve the future for fine arts students in our community.
Join us in a Fine Arts Exhibit & Cultural Event at the Prisma Health Welcome Center at Unity Park on May 6th 2023 from 5pm - 8pm. A historical, suit & tie evening hosted by the designated M.C., catered with local hors d'oeuvres, and topped with local beer & wine as the attendees are dressed to impress, ready to witness the evening’s activities & help make a difference in our community.
A one of a kind way to experience some of Greenville's rich history on canvas & in performance. Together, we will learn some of our Greenville black history and feel the stories come to life as the DJ serenades, Actor JDew re-enacts scenes, Tiffany LaSha' hosts the Black Carpet Experience, and the Master of Ceremonies narrates & guides the audience through this community’s long journey towards UNITY.
The goal of this event is to bring to light some of Greenville's notable black history, educating those in attendance of the rich culture that has brought unity to our community today. We aim to provide the Urban League of the Upstate with a donation of a percentage of all sales proceeds to their respective education programs, and give away a scholarship and 1yr mentorship to one of this year’s high school art students here in the Upstate. The first of several events in years to come.
All original paintings displayed at the 2023 event are produced by Greenville artist Timothy Cunningham. Timothy is also the owner of both Wine & Design Greenville SC & Anderson SC.
He’s showcased his artwork from coast to coast for over 23 years, and has artwork in private and commercial collections nationwide & international. Born & raised in Winnsboro SC, then residing and showcasing much of his post military life in San Diego, Seattle, and El Paso....Timothy is now on his home soil and looks to play a key role in the growth of Greenville while preserving its grass roots.
