The Greenville Symphony's Artists Up Close series features musicians from the orchestra in specially curated concerts with repertoire written for small ensembles. To help celebrate the 75th Season, the symphony will also present run-out concerts to reach listeners in other communities as a way to say "thank you". Artists Up Close concerts feature contemporary and local composers, themed programs, and special guests.
The music on our second concert relates in different ways to "Faith" and includes a female choir and harp in addition to strings and winds. Cinema fans might recognize Jonny Greenwood's music from the movie "There Will be Blood". This unique program is not to be missed.
