Details

Vox Luminis, a Belgian early music vocal ensemble, was founded in 2004 by Lionel Meunier. The group performs over 60 concerts annually, showcasing its unique sound that highlights each voice’s timbre while creating a unified sound color. With a core of soloists mostly from the Royal Conservatory of The Hague, Vox Luminis specializes in Italian, English, and German repertoire from the 16th to 18th centuries. Their 19 albums have received international acclaim and numerous awards, including Gramophone Recording of the Year and BBC Music Magazine's Choral Award. Vox Luminis will present the program Ein Deutsches Barockrequiem (“A German Baroque Requiem”).

The Benjamin B. Dunlap Chamber Music Series was founded in 2005 to bring international guest artists to Wofford College's campus. The series is offered free to the public. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
