An opening reception for "Between Worlds: The Art of JoAnn Borovicka"
JoAnn's works combine folk-art aesthetics with surreal imagery. In her mixed media exhibit, she strives to capture something of that ephemeral moment between dreaming and waking up. The moment when incompatible and perhaps disquieting images from dreams linger and make perfect harmonious sense.
