The performance work Cabaret influenced the selection of art in this exhibit by local artist Kim Dick. The works stylistically align with the duality of personal narrative and the nature of exhibitionism. The internal dialog of the artist is captured through intuitive mark-making. These expressions are then explored through the emotive quality of stark color palettes. Imagine a fusion of passion, darkness, and chaotic energy as focused elements in art… here life is beautiful.
