Art & Light Gallery is happy to announce the Audrey Laine Jewelry Holiday 2024 Collection launching on the Art & Light website and in the gallery on Friday, November 29 at 10am with a Meet the Maker event scheduled for Friday, December 6 from 2 - 8pm.
Audrey Laine Sawyer is a jewelry artist and metalsmith focusing on the intersections of nature, geometry, and design. Audrey uses a variety of traditional metalworking techniques to create wearable and sculptural objects that are an exploration of the constantly evolving world around her. Her hollow forms with pierced silhouettes are fabricated in sterling silver and brass, set elements include gemstones and carved wood, interiors are patinad or powder coated, and statement chain is hand fabricated. Audrey studied painting and graphic design at Rollins College, and attended Haywood Community College’s Professional Crafts program for Metals. Her work is made by hand in small batches in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina.
