This 4-role, hour-long, one-act follows the struggle of 3 characters in Greenville, circa 1890: MaryLou (a 15-year-old baker, newly-arrived), Ambrose (a Horse Cab Driver, known locally as “The Story Man”), and Charles H. Lanneau Jr. (historic founder of the Huguenot Mill.) Their responses to a tragic event in 1892 propel the action through 1907--all woven together by a whimsical StageHand/Narrator named Hack.
