Current Main Gallery Exhibition: Past is Prologue, by Arden Cone.
In Past is Prologue, Arden Cone delves into the uneasy convergence of individual and collective trauma, using art to reflect on history’s lasting imprint. The exhibition explores the power of memory through two distinct yet interconnected bodies of artwork which are separately titled Creosote Tears and Congressional Immunity—each of which contemplates the nature of history and its impact on present-day realities.
Join us at GCCA in our Main Gallery to hear more about Cone's creative process and how her series, Past is Prologue, came to fruition. The exhibition will be showing from December 6th, 2024 – January 29th, 2025 and the ARTalk will be hosted on Tuesday, January 14th, 2024 from 6 — 7 PM.
