Art of Thieves (AOT) is a jazz quartet originally assembled by Wheel Sessions host and drummer, Kevin Korschgen. Built on a concept of shared leadership among its members, each having a creative voice, the ensemble looks to push musical boundaries. The band's approach to making music instinctively combines many musical genres with jazz: rock and pop, Latin, African, and avant-garde. With a current membership that includes tenor saxophonist Peter Dimery, pianist Philip Howe, bassist Nathan Lambertson, and Korschgen on drums, the quartet will emerge with a new sound at the Greenville jazz Festival ... Duke Ellington famously said, "The composition begins when the musicians are chosen".
