There is a little something to tickle everyone’s fancy in the work of mixed media artist Leslie Lakes. From a menagerie of animals painted on vintage sheet music to a collection of whimsical, elegant, quirky, humorous and/or interactive assemblages, Leslie draws on her interest in myriad things, both vintage and antique in nature.
Also included in this show will be romantic-influenced pieces for those you love on Valentine’s and every other day of the year!
ARTIST CHRISTINA COVINGTON
Local ceramicist Christina Covington creates uniquely charming artisanal wares for your home. She combines various construction methods to achieve both form and function. Her layering techniques come together to reveal subtle textures and sheens, transforming the surface of each piece into something beautiful and unique.
From fanciful rocking chair mugs to cat and frog butter dishes, hand-painted pottery plates with birds and other woodland creatures, and more, Christina’s pottery invites the user to delight in ornate detail.
