wood, metal, printmaking, sculpture, drawing
I use materials at hand to express myself, from stringed instruments to simple line drawings. Basket materials are remnants of past lives, wood is the spirit from trees long gone, metal in all forms are from the earth, where we all come from. Sometimes form has no function. The viewer needs to engage the visual to see balance in their own lives.
Take Wade Hampton Blvd (Hwy 29) about 5.6 miles into Taylors. Take a (diagonal) right onto W. Main St. Drive 1.3 miles, take a right onto Mill St. There will be a traffic light and a rock wall at this intersection. Keep going down Mill St into the Mill area. You will pass the first large section of the mill then take a right into the large parking lot/loading dock area (dock 3). Entrance is on the back right, up the stairs through the double doors on the right.
