The Journey Continues
Spoonbill Gallery invites you to a special birthday celebration and the opening of The Journey Continues, a new solo exhibition by Greenville artist Sarkis Chorbadjian.
This captivating collection of abstract paintings is inspired by travel, memory, and the artist’s lifelong fascination with the ancient world. Rather than depicting specific destinations, Sarkis’s work offers emotional responses to place, discovery, and the memories that shape us. Through rich layers of color, texture, and wax, The Journey Continues explores the space between memory and imagination, inviting viewers into a deeply personal yet universally resonant experience.
“The opening of this exhibition falls on my birthday, which makes this show especially meaningful,” says Sarkis. “This voyage of discovery has been adventurous on so many levels, and I can’t wait to share it through these new paintings.
