MIRROR: Visual Arts as Social Commentary

The Warehouse Theatre, located at 37 Augusta Street, is proud to present its first juried exhibition as part of the SeasonArt Series. Timed to coincide with the production of The Mountaintop by Pulitzer-Prize-winning and Tony-nominated playwright Katori Hall (running April 3–26), the exhibition will explore the theme MIRROR: Visual Arts as Social Commentary.
Artists are invited to submit works that challenge, reflect, and inspire dialogue around contemporary social issues. Prizes totaling $1,600 will be awarded: $800 for first place, $500 for second, and $300 for third. The exhibition will be juried by Professor Valerie Zimany, Chair of the Department of Art at Clemson University’s College of Architecture, Art and Construction.
