Painting, once again

Again, It Is Painting is the artist’s first solo exhibition.
Having devoted her early life to studying and practicing fine art, the artist’s life revolved entirely around painting. This path was interrupted by marriage and immigration, which brought isolation and disconnection from familiar communities, leaving language and belonging difficult to navigate.
Painting became a space to reconnect with the world. For someone whose words often falter, the canvas became a language of its own—figures, animals, and scenes speaking where words could not.
This exhibition marks a personal return to painting, an act of re-engaging with the world through the medium itself.
