Santiago Castañeda Quartet At Coffee Underground

The Santiago Castañeda Quartet is made up of young musicians who share a deep respect for the jazz tradition while exploring new sounds and ideas. Their music blends familiar elements of swing and improvisation with subtle influences from contemporary styles like free-jazz and modern fusion.

This concert will include music by jazz piano legends such as Chick Corea and Thelonious Monk, as well as original compositions by the band’s leader, Santiago. He will be accompanied by a group of local musicians including guitarist Reese Roberts, drummer Jackson Goldy, and bassist Griffin Lesher.
