There is intrinsic magic in the making of art. I find joy in the creative need to make things. I try to capture strange, beautiful and comforting moments through the use of bright colors while finding inspiration from the community that surrounds me. I consider myself a historian of my environment. Process, meaning, material and method change as I constantly try to document my sense of place.
