Although the medium with which I work most extensively is clay, I am a sculptor and painter that uses elements of printmaking and mixed media assemblage in my work. Clay pieces actually become canvases that are mostly 'painted' with glazes. I dedicate a great deal of effort to surfacing pieces using textures to enhance the finished product. Inspiration is drawn from a myriad of considerations such as life experience, traditional design, urbanization, nature and pop culture.
