Artist Statement

To me, photographing people is the closest I can get to understand another person’s experience. It is a great thing to let the lens transport me into another existence – a reality that is usually completely different than my own. Faces and body language fascinate me. I am a perpetual observer of life, always striving to document how our unique inner qualities manifest in our physical form.
