Abstracted realism would best describe my work. My objectives are to explore realism without being predictable and abstraction without becoming inaccessible. I enjoy experimenting with different textures: oils, acrylics and pastels for depth, and clay for its tactile qualities. For inspiration, I travel and explore new areas, and meet people with various thoughts, ideals and belief systems. All of this inspires me to create works that I hope will in some way add something positive to our collective life experience.
From S. Main St take Pendleton St approximately one mile into the Village of West Greenville. Studio building is on right, before the corner of Pendleton & Smith Streets.
