DESCRIPTION:Greenville Through a Lens is a Fine Arts Exhibit & Cultural Event hosted by The Cunningham Fine Arts Foundation at The Rutherford on April 25th\, 2026 from 4pm – 9pm.\nThe 4th Annual Greenville Through A Lens Suit & Tie Black Carpet Evening is more than an art showcase—it’s a cultural experience. Guests are encouraged to express their artistry through fashion while experiencing Greenville’s rich Black and Hispanic history brought to life through original artwork and live performance. The evening features works by founder and fine artist Timothy Cunningham\, alongside PHOR\, Orlando Corona\, RaAmen Stallings\, Peggy Dillard-Toone\, and Lloyd Toone\, with powerful spoken word by Greenville Poet Laureate Glenis Redmond and Poet Dove Dupree. Guided by MC Rasaq Adeyemi\, the night unfolds with black carpet interviews by MaryMak\, curated food and drinks from local restaurants and breweries\, and music by DJ Kurious George—an on-time\, high-impact evening celebrating art\, history\, and unity. \nA percentage of all sales proceeds will be donated to the Young Brothers Academy of Greenville for the betterment of youth programs in Greenville county. Donations to assist the mission of the Cunningham Fine Arts Foundation’s programs & workshops conducted in the Greenville community will be accepted at this event. \nThis project is funded in part by the Jolley Foundation\, Community Foundation of Greenville\, the South Carolina Arts Commission\, and the Metropolitan Arts Council.

DESCRIPTION:The Greenville Chamber Players team up with chef Michael Izzard and Southern Libations at the The Rutherford — a historic 1950’s venue right outside downtown Greenville! \nKathryn Dey (viola)\, Joanna Mulfinger (violin)\, Xiaoli Saliny (violin)\, and Seth Russell (cello) will perform an eclectic set for string quartet\, featuring music by Mozart\, Schubert\, Sufjan Stevens\, tango\, and more. \nChef Michael Izzard of LolaCeli and MuniMuni will be cooking Filipino style Yakitori\, also known as Ihawan. It will feature various meat and vegetable skewers cooked over live coal as well as some small plates. The MuniMuni and LolaCeli events pop up at various locations around town. \nSouthern Libations will be crafting delicious themed drinks and cocktails. \nTicket covers cost of entry\, food and drink are available for purchase at the venue. \nGreenville Chamber Players seeks to build community around great music by providing world-class chamber music concerts performed by local musicians. Intimate venues and imaginative programs create an engaging connection with our audiences. Our personal presentation of high-caliber performances fosters a sense of belonging and inspiration with audience members from an array of backgrounds and ages.
