Lance Williams is a young artist with a seasoned vision for humanity and the abstract. Upon graduation from Brevard High School in Brevard, N.C., during the spring of 1997, Lance attended a two-week summer intensive program at Brevard College for gifted students in the arts. He received a full-tuition scholarship from the Transylvania County School system in Brevard to attend the program. After completing the summer intensive program and developing a rapport with the art instructors at Brevard College, he decided to enroll at the school in the fall of 1997.
At the end of his first year as an art major at Brevard College, he was awarded a full art scholarship by the school to finish his Bachelors of Arts degree. While studying at Brevard College, Lance developed a love for both painting and fine art photography and by the end of his four years at Brevard College, he had completed a double emphasis in both disciplines.
Shortly after graduating from Brevard College in the spring of 2001, Lance relocated to Greenville, S.C., by way of Hendersonville, N.C. In 2005 Lance took a job as a photographer and album designer for a small photography firm in Greenville. After working with the firm for three years, he decided to venture out and start his own commercial photography business and so was born, Freelance Imagery. He currently owns and operates his photography business in the Greenville area, but always finds time to pursue his true passion for fine arts. His fine art work can be found at imagerybylaw.com and his commercial photography can be found at freelanceimagery.com
