SUMMARY:Carolina Youth Symphony Senior Honors Concert
DESCRIPTION:Join us at Furman University’s McAlister Auditorium on Sunday\, May 3 at 3pm for the Carolina Youth Symphony Senior Honors Concert as we celebrate 33 amazing seniors with a combined 101 years in the CYS! \nConducted by Dr. Charles D. Baldwin\, James F. Kilgus\, Dr. Ginger L. Rich\, and Ashley E. Rhoden\, the Senior Honors Concert will feature the Symphony\, Concert\, Repertory\, and Preparatory String Orchestras performing works by Brahms\, Tchaikovsky\, Webber\, Hanssen\, and Offenbach. The concert will also feature Senior Soloist Dylan Goldbach performing Séjourné’s “Concerto for Marimba and Strings”. \nThis concert is generously sponsored by Foster Victor Wealth Advisors and Publix Super Markets Charities. \nThis program is funded in part by the Metropolitan Arts Council which receives support from the City of Greenville\, BMW Manufacturing Company\, SEW-EURODRIVE\, and the South Carolina Arts Commission. \nThis project in funded in part by the South Carolina Arts Commission which receives support from the National Endowment for the Arts. \nCYS Members receive two complimentary tickets to this concert\, which can be picked up at the dress rehearsal or immediately prior to the concert.
