DESCRIPTION:Join us on April 20th at 7:30pm as the Carlos Moseley Series welcomes back Egyptian-American pianist Dr. Wael Farouk to the stage. Beloved in the Spartanburg community for more than two decades\, since he was a Master’s student of Doug Weeks at Converse\, Wael now lives outside of New York\, where he teaches at the Manhattan School of Music and uses the city as the base of a major international performing career. He commands an impossibly vast repertoire of more than 70 concertos and 60 recital programs and has performed the complete piano concertos of Beethoven\, Brahms\, and Rachmaninov (including all three Rachmaninov concertos in a single concert). He has performed all throughout Europe\, Asia\, Africa\, and the Americas and has been praised as “formidable and magnificent” by the New York Concert Review. Join us as we welcome him on April 20th for a performance you do not want to miss!

DESCRIPTION:The Fourth Wall isn’t your average classical ensemble—they are a genre-defying trio that blends virtuoso musicianship with theatre\, dance\, and acrobatics. Hailed by The Wall Street Journal for their “deft choreography\,” flutist Hilary Abigana\, bass trombonist C. Neil Parsons\, and percussionist Greg Jukes create a new hybrid art form.
