The Greater Greenville Master Gardeners invites artists to submit an work for consideration for use on our 2020 Symposium brochure, poster, social media publicity and artwork raffle. Submission deadline is August 31, 2019.
Each year, the Greenville Master Gardeners choose a local artist’s work. We purchase an artwork that conveys the theme of our annual symposium. The 2020 theme is “American Gardens~Revealed!” We expect a broad interpretation of this theme. The symposium is February 8, 2020. Please distribute this invitation to fellow artists who may be interested in submitting work.
The quick details are:
- The winning artwork will be quality printed on 1500 brochures, 200 posters, broadcast on social media and displayed and raffled at our symposium. Artist is credited on all media and materials. The winning artwork is also used on large banners at the symposium.
- The winning artist receives $400 for their artwork and free vendor space at the symposium. In addition, a short biography with contact information is included in welcome gift bags for the symposium attendees.
- Artwork must be at least 18” x 24”, no frame or mat required.
- The artwork is purchased in early September. No need to hold your piece until February.
