Barbel Amos

Sometimes I have a specific idea in mind to paint, other times I let my intuition guide me as to which way my painting will develop. I have enjoyed being involved in art all of my life, first during my education in Germany, then after moving to the USA. Nothing pleases me more than when someone appreciates and understands my work. I tell my students "Art is from the Heart", which means to me, that the spark of creativity comes from within you, and when you realize this, you will be able to create works of art.

From downtown Greenville, take Wade Hampton (Hwy. 29) north towards Greer, for approximately 9.5 miles. After going through the traffic light at St. Marks Road, turn left onto the next street, Groveland Road. Turn right onto Tumbleweed Terrace after going up the hill. My studio is on the right in the second block.
