Arts Advocacy

Throughout its existence, MAC has been responsible for the creation and development of many arts-related projects in the area, including Artisphere, the International Arts Festival of Greenville, the Peace Center for the Performing Arts, and Upstate Visual Arts. Most recently MAC has undergone a change in direction after completing a comprehensive strategic planning process that focused the mission on stimulating and supporting artistic expression of artists and arts organizations of Greenville County.

MAC works with local, state and federal governments to inform them of the impact of the arts in Greenville County. It strives to ensure that funding for the arts remains a part of governmental budgets.
