About the Artist: Bob Santanello grew up in Northwestern
Pennsylvaniawhere he
first developed his love for the outdoors. He relocated his family to South Carolinain 1976. About six years
ago his passion for the outdoors transpired into paintings. “Mother nature has
created most of my favorite subjects, so I carry a camera everywhere I go and
then use the pictures individually or collectively to create a painting”, said
Bob describing where he gets his inspirations. Whether using a brush or a
palette knife, Bob captures his hunting and fishing trips into beautiful oil
paintings.
Bob has been studying painting for six years within our community and The
Artists Guild Gallery of Greenville is excited to host his first solo show. His
wildlife paintings, representative of hunting trips to Southwestern Colorado, will be exhibited
during the month of May.
The Artists Guild Gallery
of Greenville is a co-operative gallery located in the heart of Greenvilleat 200 North Main Streetin downtown Greenville, SC.Over twenty five local
artists are represented in the gallery along with various mediums including
acrylic, mixed media, oil and watercolor paintings, jewelry, glass, woodwork
and sculpture.
One or more of the artists is in the gallery at all times, demonstrating
throughout the day and always ready to discuss their art with visitors. The
Artists Guild Gallery is open daily Mon-Sat 10-6, Sunday 1-5, the first Friday
of each month 10-9.
