Love Story from Abroad
Guest Conductor Francesco La Vecchia, Music Director of the Orchestra Sinfonica di Roma (Rome Symphony Orchestra) and described as "the soul of the Orchestra," travels from Italy to Greenville to present the romantically inspired works of these two German masters in a tribute to the international language of music.

Speaker Paul Hyde will lead a Pre-Concert Talk one hour prior to both the Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon performances in the Founder's Room above Larkins on the River. These talks, aimed at educating individuals interested in learning more about the concert's music, are free of charge and open to the public.
