Schools & Teachers Project Grant Program
Purpose:
The funding priority of the quarterly project grants program is to provide support for educators to develop an appreciation for, understanding of, and support for the arts and arts education as a component of the basic curriculum in the lives of Greenville County students. This category supports Arts Enhancement Activities, including, but not limited to, in-school and after-school activities/classes, performances, exhibitions and artist residencies.
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must be a certified private or public school located in Greenville County. Applicants may receive no more than TWO quarterly project grants per fiscal year. Previously awarded grant projects must be completed prior to submitting new applications.
Funding Range and Match:
: Up to $1,500 with a 1:1 (Applicant to MAC) required match per award. Please note that up to 50% of the match may be in-kind goods and services.
Deadlines:
Applications must be postmarked or delivered to the MAC office by 5 PM of the deadline date. If the deadline occurs on a holiday or weekend, the next business day becomes the default deadline date. No late, faxed or emailed applications may be accepted.
