Training Opportunities

SmartARTS provides numerous opportunities for training teachers in Greenville County Schools. All training sessions focus on developing a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of arts integration and teacher-artist collaboration.

The primary training offered by SmartARTS is the Greenville County Arts Integration Training Institute (GCAITI). This week-long institute trains teachers in collaborating to integrate the arts with all content areas in order to deepen student learning. Learning within the SmartARTS training programs is highly experiential and incorporates relfection to make personal meaning of individual and group experiences.

The Advanced Arts Integration Workshop is a three day workshop and part of Greenville County School’s Summer Academy.

• Elementary and Middle School Teachers in Greenville County
