Sculpture and hand building with clay have always been my favorite art form. For me, hand building is exciting, challenging, and very free. Clay is a wonderful medium that allows me to express my impressions of the beauty, colour, textures and forms that I see everywhere. Hand building with clay offers me the freedom to make all manner of shapes beyond what one can do on a potter’s wheel. I may start with an idea, but sometimes the clay dictates the way I should I go, and often I go with it; there are very few boundaries.
